The second Climate Coffee gathering was held on the 30th April in Belgrade
As noted at the first meeting, when we talk about climate change, we tend to remain isolated in our own expert "bubbles".
The second Climate Coffee in Belgrade once again opened the space for the much-needed exchange of perspectives, focusing this time on the energy transition and the role of the individual.
Key conclusions from the second gathering:
Energy Decentralization: A key theme was the need to develop cleaner energy sources, as well as the enormous potential of small, decentralized systems to contribute to the resilience and availability of the entire energy system.
Education as a starting point: Raising awareness and access to reliable information reduce the gap between the "abstractness" of climate change in the everyday lives of citizens, which is a prerequisite for any further action.
Space for professional action: The field of climate change is not reserved only for activists. It requires building an active professional community that can professionally connect and act together.
